Anne Sweeney, President, Disney/ABC Television Group took us on a journey through the evolution of TV, its creative transformation and optimistic future during her keynote at the Financial Times Digital Media Conference.
Sweeney flagged the vital role of mobile in leading the charge as technology opened new doors and enabling an interactive, immersive, customised experience.
She left the audience with a couple of key messages:
– Follow in the footsteps of the early TV pioneers and visionaries and take a leap even if the market isn’t ready.
– There is a real need for improved mobile measurement.
