Georg Ramme of Endemol Beyond International,announced the Asian launch of its successful global brand, ICON, whilst speaking at All That Matters in Singapore. Endemol Beyond is one of the biggest producers of premium digital content in the world with over 300 channels globally and 550 million viewers.
ICON, the first worldwide Premium Lifestyle Network, was initially launched in the U.S, creatively led by Michelle Phan, YouTube superstar and entrepreneur, but it’s foray into Asia will feature local talent rather than international stars. ICON is a channel where viewers can find original content in beauty, fashion, wellness, DIY, food, human interest stories and travel. Georg believes that Digital Video has arrived and it’s no more an experimental play and ICON’s launch in Asia will make it’s foothold stronger in the digital storytelling space.
