Coca-Cola is no stranger to inventive campaigns, but their new take on sustainability in this campaign was almost as refreshing at the drink itself.

The “2nd Lives” program took used plastic Coke bottles and turned them into so much more. Answering the question, “What if they (the bottles) had a life after Coke?,” the “2nd Lives” campaign introduced 16 re-imagined bottle caps that transformed an empty bottle into anything from a pencil sharpener to a water gun.

The campaign was launched in Vietnam in 2014, where 40,000 free caps were given away with the purchase of a Coke.
