Twitter’s Managing Director of Emerging Markets, Peter Greenberger, was under the spotlight today at Social Matters in Hong Kong, in a hard-hitting interview with Financial Times Correspondent, Josh Noble.
When asked what makes a great Tweet, Greenberger said:
“There are three things to consider when composing a great Tweet. Firstly, it has to be in real time, because Twitter is a real-time network. Secondly, it must be authentic and convey a real voice. Thirdly, it must be true and relevant to the audience.”
When asked what makes a good content strategy, Greenberger shared a “triangle” model. He advised that users adhere to at least one of three pillars, including “inform”, “entertain” and “offer any help you can provide.”
