This week in Chicago, OgilvyOne Worldwide was once again the dominant force at the Direct Marketing Association’s annual ECHO awards gala taking home 28 awards, more than double the nearest competitor, Proximity/BBDO.
The ECHOs are the only global awards that recognize creativity and effectiveness in digital, direct and customer engagement. Of the 1,200 global submissions, 90 trophies were awarded, with OgilvyOne accounting for just under a third of these.
OgilvyOne won 4 Gold, 13 Silver and 11 Bronze. The Gold awards were for Pond’s “Face my Love” (Manila), Beyond Dark “Measure of Pleasure” (London), Google “Chrome Experiment: Ramakien” (Singapore) and Kotex “Generation Know” (New York).
Asia Pacific took home 13 of the total awards, with strong showings from North America (9 medals) and EAME (6 medals).
