While for some of us this is just a game, for many others around the world it’s everyday reality.
Today over 100,000 children all over the world are suffering from hunger. That is the idea behind the video that OgilvyOne Milan created to maximize awareness around one of the most serious emergencies of our times and to support ShareTheMeal, which is a World Food Program’s app that invites to a more sensible use of technology.
Donating is possible through a simple tap on your smartphone: with 40 cents you can feed an underfed kid for an entire day. The international campaign is distributed on social networks all over the world, starting on the occasion of World Food Day, October 16th: with this video campaign, we’re all invited to take action against worldwide hunger.
In addition to World Food Program’s owned media, the campaign is distributed online by supporters such as Apple, Google and Facebook. “We’re particularly proud to be able to support this project in an important occasion such as the World Food Day” – says Paolo Iabichino, Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy & Mather Italy – “and to support ideals that involve everyone, as the fight against world hunger.”
