Approximately 40% of Singapore’s 222,500 domestic workers do not have a weekly day off, despite the 2013 legislation making this mandatory. Working long hours, 7 days a week can lead to increased homesickness and mental health problems.
Ogilvy Singapore worked with Transient Workers Count Too (TWC2) to raise awareness of this issue and demonstrate to employers that this is not an inconvenience but an opportunity to bond with their children.
